Overview

A one-day foundational course providing essential first aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills tailored for the workplace or home. This Course meets legislation requirements for Provincial / Territorial Worker Safety and insurance boards and includes the latest in first aid and cpr guidelines

  • Learners must successfully complete the following criteria to be granted certification:

    • The ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all the required skills, including any critical steps.

    • The ability to complete a written, closed-book, independently completed knowledge evaluation with a minimum mark of 75%.

    • Attendance and participation in 100% of the course.

    • Adherence to the Red Cross’s Fundamental Principles.
