You don't need to provide a space. However, we conduct all our training onsite, so if you cannot provide the space, we can find a suitable one for an additional cost.

It is recommended that a minimum of 46.5 square meters (500 square feet) of clear working space is provided for a class of 10 to 18 candidates. For classes with fewer than 10 candidates, the space should be at least 4 square meters (44 square feet) per candidate.

The CSA group establishes workplace standards in Canada.
CSA Z1210-17 is a standardization of Workplace First Aid certifications in Canada. This standardization includes both the Training Curriculum and Certification, as well as First Aid kit requirements for workplaces.

The Canadian Red Cross has adopted the CSA guidelines into their training program to allow for a more nationally recognized certificate as more provinces/territories adopt the CSA standards. With this adoption of standards the Canadian Red Cross certification you will receive will show the CSA certification listed as well.
Emergency First Aid – Meets CSA Standard Z1210–17 – Basic
Standard First Aid – Meets CSA Standard Z1210–17 – Intermediate
Advanced First Aid – Meets CSA Standard Z1210–17 – Advanced
CPR level courses are included in this update so that classes throughout the province are consistent.
